Across the nation there are countless power generators and industrial burners used to create electricity or thermal energy for chemical and other industrial processes. In areas adjacent to these facilities, there can be environmental concerns and people who are sensitive to exposure issues from particle emissions.

For companies, regulators and communities concerned about environmental and exposure issues, Advanced MicroAnalytical offers analytical services to determine the environmental impact created via by-products from power generators and industrial burners.   • High-Volume Filter Analysis: This tests high-volume filters to determine quantitative loading of different materials at a specific site for insight into deposition patterns and timelines.
  • Stack Residue Material Analysis: This provides analysis of solid residues to determine source of build-up in a stack, filter or scrubber.
  • Coal Ash Analysis of Soil (Plus Lead Sourcing): Analyzes anthropogenic materials in soil for environmental monitoring and sourcing purposes. Analyzing lead (Pb) allows for the differentiation of paint, ash or other industrial sources.
